Here you will find the descriptions and a side-to-side comparison of our Niche Websites plans.
In our opinion, the WordPress-based sites will provide you the best value in a long run.
The other 2 options : HTML sites and Shopify stores are more specific in what they have to offer, but may suit your particular application.

WordPress - based

WordPress is currently the dominant Web Publishing platform.
So much development has been done for WordPress, that pretty much any functionality that you may think of - already has a plugin for it, ready-made.

If you're thinking in terms of which platform will provide you the room to grow, WordPress is currently the best option available.
Of course, the problem with WordPress is not the lack of plugins or themes. Quite the opposite.
If you don't know what you're doing, you can spend literally months testing and discovering the limitations of various plugins. There may be a conflict with another, its support may be bad, it has been abandoned, etc. etc.

Combined, we have about 2 decades worth of experience with WordPress. The plugins we use have therefore been tested and re-tested in real-life situations, and we've dealt with their developers over the years.

There is also a very important issue of Security.
Because it's so easily available to newbies as well as the experienced web masters, many WordPress sites have been put together hastily and with gaping security holes.
For us, putting a Site together STARTS and ENDS with Security in mind.

If you're not sure what option to choose and it's within your budget, our recommendation is to go with the Wordpress-Standard plan.

HTML - based

If all you need is a 'little window' on the Web, and you're not planning to make many changes (or none at all) to your website, then consider an HTML website.

The way the HTML sites work:
First, you pick an HTML template that you like. Then you provide us with your images and text (or we can get those done for you, for a bit more $$). Then we replace the images and text from the original template with YOURS, and voila- you've got yourself a quick and very good looking website.

There is a catch, however: These websites don't provide a friendly user interface where you could enter or change your info.
Only a person with some coding skills could do it.

It may be a good (and relatively cheap) way to get your website up and running.
Later, we could also add a WordPress-based site to it, to create a hybrid, which would allow you to grow and change things as you go.

Shopify - based

Technically speaking, Shopify is a hosted E-Commerce platform.

It means that we don't have to worry about the server setup, security and updates. Shopify takes care of all that for us. It is also a very good platform for E-commerce and their support and the knowledge-base is very helpful.
Those are the good parts.

We've found, however - that if you need almost ANY extended functionality, apart from what is included in the Shopify framework core, the prices are usually considerably higher than if we were to implement the same in WordPress.

Also, technically speaking - we do not pre-package any Shopify websites. Unlike our WordPress Niche websites, our Shopify plans only include a Shopify theme of your choice. You would have to pay extra for any Shopify extension you'd need.

So, it's a toss-up. We generally lean towards WordPress, but there are situations when Shopify may be just the right fit for you.
