WordPress - based
WordPress is currently the dominant Web Publishing platform.
So much development has been done for WordPress, that pretty much any functionality you may think of, already has a plugin ready-made.
So much so, that this has become a problem.
Making the best choice from the huge number of available plugins and themes - can really only be done by an experienced coder.
On the up-side, this means that you can adapt a WP-based site to any business model, on the fly.
If you're thinking in terms of which platform will provide you the room to grow, WordPress is currently the best option available.
Combined, we have about 2 decades worth of experience with WordPress.
We have developed our own WordPress theme framework and the plugins we use have been tested and re-tested in real-life situations.
If you're not sure which option to choose and it's within your budget, our recommendation is to go with the Wordpress-Standard plan.

HTML - based
If ALL you need is a 'little window' on the Web, and you're not planning to make many changes (or none at all), then consider an HTML website. They are a great (and cheap) way to score some big SEO points with Google and other search engines, generate more business and have control over how your brand is perceived on the Web.
The HTML sites are much easier to set up than the other 2 options and there are practically no maintenance requirements, since there is no database. For a small website consisting of one or several landing pages and a Contact Form for lead generation, this is much better suited than a WP-based site or a Shopify store.
The way the HTML sites work:
First, you pick an HTML template that you like. Then you provide us with your images and text (or we can get those done for you, for a bit more $$). Then we replace the images and text from the original template with YOURS, and voila- you've got yourself a quick and very good looking website.
There is a catch, however: These websites don't provide a friendly user interface where you could enter or change your content. Only a person with some coding skills could do it.
This may also be a good way to get your website up and running.
Later, we could add a WordPress-based site to it and create a 'hybrid', or replace the HTML site with WordPress, altogether.
